BLACKROLL® named Official Recovery Partner of HYROX worldwide
BLACKROLL® is now the Official Recovery Partner of HYROX, the global fitness racing series. It's a long-term partnership with one clear aim: making recovery a standard part of training and competition in every HYROX market.
BLACKROLL has been HYROX China's recovery partner since April 2026, and has already run recovery zones at events across Europe and Australia. That partnership now extends to the full HYROX network. Over the 2026/27 season, it's set to roll out across more than 30 countries on six continents, reaching over two million athletes.
Recovery zones and digital support
The partnership is built around a complete recovery approach that supports athletes before, during and after race day. Plans include co-developed products, digital performance and recovery tools, coaching programmes, and AI-supported training and recovery recommendations.
At the centre are the BLACKROLL Recovery Zones. From October 2026, athletes at major HYROX events will be able to move through a structured, multi-station recovery program straight after crossing the finish line. Mobility and prevention work before the race, plus recovery guidance for the days that follow, round out the concept. The same system is also planned for gyms and facilities offering HYROX training.
Recovery as part of performance
Both BLACKROLL and HYROX want recovery recognised as part of performance, not an afterthought. BLACKROLL says the concept is grounded in scientifically backed methods and designed to support performance, recovery and sleep quality over the long term.
BLACKROLL CEO Scott Zalaznik called the partnership a key step towards making professional-level recovery accessible worldwide, with the goal of setting a scalable standard that helps athletes balance training and recovery. HYROX co-founder and CMO Moritz Fürste said recovery should become as natural a part of the event as the race itself.
Rolling out from late 2026
The global rollout started at HYROX Istanbul in August 2026. Hamburg in October will be the flagship event for the new recovery concept, before it expands to HYROX competitions worldwide. Down the track, both partners plan to use training and race data to offer personalised recovery recommendations, making recovery more individual and measurable for the HYROX community.
